DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful antique French trinket box, very finely crafted and detailed. It is done in the neoclassical Empire style and features a round reticulated frame with swagged design, supported by four feet, with black velvet covering and interior lining; the lid features a Crimson velvet ground with an ormolu-framed porcelain plaque portrait of the French Emperor Napoleon. What a wonderful addition to any collection!

CONDITION: The box presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. The ormolu has minor wear and tarnish. The portrait appears free of damage. Please review all photos before purchasing. Thank you!
