Antique French Napoleon III Brass Ribbon Bow Picture Frame:

This listing is for a pretty, antique French brass hanging picture frame from the Napoleon III era (1852 to 1870, corresponds to early Victorian). The frame has two delicate rope borders, one on the outer edge, one on the inner edge. The top is decorated with ribbon bow, laurel and flame motif. The frame is all original, no repairs, and has not been cleaned or polished. The original backing are missing; the glass is a modern replacement, I believe. It measures 4-1/2\" x 5-1/2\" and accommodates a 4\" x 5-1/2\" print or photo. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
