This antique French Boulle scent caddy box is a fine example from the Napoleon III era. It has a unique design that showcases the French style of marquetry. The primary material used in the making of this box is wood and brass.

The box is marquetry decorated on top, front, and sides, the back ebononised wood. The box has the original three Baccarat scent bottles (not marked). There is a lock, no key. There is no lifting of brass decoration, no missing brass. The bottles have undamaged stoppers, no bad chips. One bottle has nicking/chip on bottom corner (see photo). One foot replaced. Small scratches on back. Showing age appropriate wear.
