Exquisite!!! This beautiful, RARE, French Floral Pink Roses 19th C textile is absolutely exquisite in color and design.
It\'s a wonderful 19th C French printed cotton in the most delicious pink roses, rosebudswith coco brown foliage on an pale cream ground....so lovely!! The design is a medium~ lrg scale pattern perfect for many projects...quilting, pillows, interiors, art journals, patchwork, slow stitching etc.This beautiful antique textile is a light~mid weight similar to a quilting material with a fine tight weave.Condition: This panel has an overall, gently fade but the roses still have beautiful vivid pink variations throughout.Soft, clean, with some small holes a few small slit openings measuring about 1/4\" and one about an inch or just under. Some tiny specks/light toning aging color in pale mainly seen on the right side edge within the pale cream ground. A stitch line is present along the right selvedge and there are some very tiny quilt stitch pin pricks from it\'s former life ~ rescued from an antique quilt.This antique French textile measures 23\" long x 32\" wide approx.
