A beautiful antique French fine linen sheet. Part of a marriage trousseau either a mixture of the bride and grooms initials or just the brides. Traditionally hand sewn monogram of AR in raised rembourre silk stitches by either the bride or another female within her family.
An embroidered silk scolloped border with crossed open thread work. The scolloped edge is to the bottom and about a third of the way up the sheet. The perfect gift, give to a new couple, pass down the family as your own heirloom.
In excellent antique condition no holes or marks. Freshly laundered, line dried, ironed and ready to use.
