A majestic and stunning beautifully detailed porcelain figurine of a French General? on horseback. Figurine measures 10.5 inches height. Length is 8.75 inches. Width is 4 inches. Marked on the base with a gold anchor mark that was used by Edme Samson, Paris in the late 19th century. Condition is very good.A few very small nicks to florals on base. No significant damageto porcelains or restoration other than the broken string reins which I feel could easily be replaced or repaired. Enamels and gold gilt details are intact.
