Condition: VERY GOOD! Est. mid-late 1800s, delicate shell is in great shape 🤩! Silver mounts with lid held closed by clasp, finish is tarnished. Please see photographs of this amazing antique piece!

History of item/Provenance: Before toothpaste and brushes were widely used, in Victorian times, these unique containers were made with seashell and silver mounts and used for dispensing bonbons (French word for candies - mints).
Seller\'s Notes/Comments: Seashell has beautiful lustrous white appearance - truly a great vintage find!
