Item:Antique French Brass Boulle Inlaid Tantalus Box with Etched Glass Sherry Set

Details:The piece features3 exquisite distinct woods with an inlaid floral motif on the top, a shapely silhouette, and hinged front and sides. The glass set consists of 4 diminutive decanters and 16 cordial glasses, all of which are etched with lovely designs. Six of the glasses are different, as the etching and size of the base do not match the others, though they do not appear to be much later than the original set. The glasses rest upon a removable tray with an ornate gilt brass or bronze handle and framework.

Age: Late 19th Century

Measurements:10\" H x 13.5\" W x 10\" D

Condition:Very good vintage condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Couple of chips to the veneer, as well as some spotting on the front and top, and a small discolored portion on the back. The glasses are all in good condition, with one having some very minor wear around the edge, as well as some wear to the stoppers. Overall very nice.
