We have a one of a kind antique Art Nouveau copper pitcher, wine pitcher looks do be French made. Pitcher features an intricate high relief repousse design depicting a scenic bacchanalian tableau including mythical goat men, cherubs, grapes.I\'m assuming this pitcher was for wine due to the motif. The pitcher is handmade and crafted from copper, making it a unique and valuable addition to any collection of metalware. Pitchers handle looks to be iron cast covered coper some of the copper has flaked off. This pitcher has an organic shape~the lid and rim look a bit like a clam shell~unfortunately the mechanism to flip open the lid is broken. The lid is a separate piece~it nestled perfectly on top of pitcher. Photos have been taken inside all details are in the photos. This is a stunning and very rare decorative piece of artfully crafted metalware. Pitcher stands 6.5\" tall~diameter is 4 3/4\"~circumference at mid section is 13\".
