Amazing French Majolica tavern pitcher with a Judaica theme. Both the exterior and interior glazecolorsare still incredible rich and vibrant which gives the details tremendous depth. The interior pink color practically glows!

Fantastic details throughout, the quality of the gestures and expressionsof the variouscharacters really brings this authentic countryside tavern scene to life.

A Star of David can been seen on one side of the pitcher which was typicalin some of these early Judaica themed pieces.

Very nice preowned condition, there is one good size chip to the inside of the rim with a few hairline underglaze lines throughout.

Crazing and glaze pops can also be seen throughoutthe piece, all typical of age and use.
