Antique Framed Magazine Ad 1915 Cream of Wheat “Playing Store” in Orig Frame 17”.

This is a great antique Cream of Wheat advertising piece from 1915 that was featured in The People’s Home Journal Magazine (it later became “Ladies Home Journal”). I know this because when I carefully cleaned the inside glass, the other side of the ad is the cover of the magazine from 1915, 5 cents for the enormous magazine! Given that this is most-likely the original frame it was placed in, and the fact that it is 107 years old, it has some water damage and a little bit of discoloration and tearing along the edges. This can be rectified easily by putting a matte around the outside of the ad and re-framing it. Overall, considering its age, it’s in good antique condition. The print colors are intact and vibrant, and this ad was signed by Edward V. Brewer. It is titled “Playing Store”, and it’s a precious representation of a little boy and girl playing in that era. This is 17.5” H x 13” W with the frame.
