Lovely, Old Clear Glass, Etched PYREX Pie Plate and Silver carrier/cradle. The plate is marked to the bottom center:
T.M. REG. PYREX U.S. PAT. OFF. and what looks like a reverser dollar sign - To the edge of the plate is marked M-B and 209.
It measures 9.5 '' large around. Sits on the caddie 2.5'' high. There is some surface wear as shown in photos and to the inner edge of the plate rim has bit of glass flaking/flea bites . . . Ugh I didn't notice until now. Well, is not well seen but DUE take note to it!
I believe this to be prior to the 1920s and certainly a collectible piece! The carrier is silver plated metal <?>and I see no other markings -(needs cleaning)Please View my many other items-->|
