DESCRIPTION:This antique oval-shaped teapot with lid is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Made of pearlware ceramic and porcelain materials, this medium-sized teapot features a romantic landscape scene of a temple by a river with a person reading a book. The pattern is in blue and white transferware style. With a capacity of 24 oz and three cups included, this teapot is perfect for all occasions and can be used to serve hot beverages like tea or coffee.Handmade and finished with a glazed look, this teapot is easy to fill and comes with handle for easy carrying. It's important to note that this item is an original and not a licensed reproduction, and it was manufactured in the United Kingdom between 1840-1860. Care instructions recommend hand washing only. The teapot and lid are sold as a set.

THERE ARE NO RETURNS. Considering the age and use, this teapot is in very good, working condition. As expected for an antique, there are some fine glaze crazing and age toning. There are some minor dings on handle and spout.
