A pair of Early American, solid brass candlesticks, made in England around the middle of the 1800s.These harlequin design holders are 11\" tall with a square base of 4\". The brass finish has a golden luster, they are not over polished. You may decide polishing or enjoy the natural finish.
One of the candlesticks has been profesionally repaired. The work is noticeable toward the bottom 1/3 of the piece. Please see the photos to get a better look at the repair. That particular holder has a slight wobble.Both sticks have a wax ejection system (push rod) that admittedly is very stiff but with a little care could work again. Please see the base pictures for a clearer idea.
