Antique Circa 1920 Bezalel Sterling Silver Photo Locket Jewish Israel Judaica:

is a solid silver (acid test come up as sterling) locket. It is very heavy for it\'s size, beautiful quality, no damage or repairs. There are two tiny push buttons on the edge to open the locket. 1.5 inches high, hallmaked on the inside. Early Bezalel silver items sometimes had cut and polished hardstones inlaid into the piece, surrounded by tightly spun/twisted silver wire. The black and white photo that shows a silver box with the same hallmark is from the book \"Bezalel 1906 - 1929\". The pocketknife pictured (not for sale), shows how the hardstones on that piece are mounted in an identical manner to the one seen on this locket. I have never seen a Bezalel locket, and among the many pieces of Bezalel jewelry that are seen in the collection of the Israel Museum (search their website to see them), they do not own a locket. Shipping outside the USA is by registered airmail. No shipping to South America or the Middle East.
