Antique telescoping cigarette holder. Europe, likely France, circa 1930.
This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE cigarette holder, totally in the Art Deco taste and period. 4 telescoping brass tubes, open and close firmly, with a top and end bakalite ( or horn ) hand carved pieces. With a brass enamel paint tube in red and silver motif. Unmarked, but likely French. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. Dimensions : Open : 15.5 inches ( 39 cm ) Close : 5.75 inches ( 14.5 cm ) Weight : 0.6 oz ( 16 grams ) Condition report : Minor oxidation to the brass. Minor discoloration to the enamel paint. Tiny hairline to the end bakalite ( see last photo ). GOOD CONDITION
