Here is a Chinese antique double inkwell with the inkwells on a wooden platform. Turn of the 19th-20th Century.Two different kinds of wood, but I don't know what kind of wood. This antique piece has dragon heads in Chinese silver on each corner of the platform. The inkwells and dragon heads are made of Chinese silver. (For a good explanation of Chinese silver Christies online has a great article on this metal, time period, and what is was used for back in the day.)
. The size is almost 14 inches by 9 inches. It is a heavy p[iece. One of the inkwells is missing its porcelain well. I will add an antique glass well for buyer (porcelain wells can also be easily found on . Hinges on inkwell covers are good.
