Found in AZ, an Antique Cherub Clock Art Nouveau/ Victorian w/ Hauser German wind up movement.

The clock seems to be running when I wound it up.

I\'m not sure if this movement is the original one that came in this case?

The heavy metal case / base/ cherub appears to be made of either brass or copper possibly? The previous owner painted it gold, but when I removed the cherub from the base to photograph, there was remnants of the original copper brass finish underneath ( see pic)

The cherub base piece ( metal ) became detached, broke off from the base sometimes in its past. It may have been glued on? There is a marble piece the rest between the cherub and the base.

Also, the rear movement cover is missing the anchor nuts to hold on the front of the face piece, so the face piece is not anchored properly.

I attempted to push on the back movement piece , but the anchor bolt that holds on the cherub, has a longer threaded piece that extends down into the area where the back piece is, so I couldn\'t fully push it on! ( See pic)

I\'m sure you can repair the cherub anchor piece, and better -anchor the movement/front & face piece. It is a very pretty item, and heavy duty!
