Wonderful antique ceramic ewer with a magnificent sea dragon handle. It is unmarked, but is very much in the style of Robert Hanke of Austria, which operated from the 1880s to 1945. I believe this fabulous piece of Bohemian porcelain dates to the late 1890s or early 1900s. It has beautiful yellow flowers and splotches of gold paint along the neck and spout. Does have condition issues - see below.CONDITION: areas of paint loss, particularly of the gold paint, but also the green of the sea dragon - study pictures carefully. There are hairline cracks that extend from the bottom up to the body of the pitcher. Spout has a few flea bites on interior rim. Significant crazing throughout. MARKINGS: Some numbers/letters stamped on bottom but no manufacturer\'s markMEASUREMENTS: 7.75\" tall, 5.5\" wideWEIGHT (w/o packaging): 1 lb 2 ozI aim to please, and describe every item to the best of my ability. But please note that my vintage items often received frequent use back in their day, so may show visible signs of wear and age. Personally, I wouldn\'t have it any other way, as I treasure those marks of the past.
