Antique Bilston Enamel 2¼\" Egg Shaped Hanging Box with Perfume or Scent Bottle:

Here\'s a beautiful antique hand painted egg shaped hanging box with a small lidded perfume or scent bottle hidden inside. The box has a hinged lid and copper mounts, a short chain for hanging and an ornament underneath. I believe this piece is from Bilston, England.

The box measures 2¼ inch tall and 1½ inches in diameter in the middle.

There is some loss to the clear enamel finish on one area as shown. Otherwise this piece is in very nice condition. The copper mounts have an even patina.

It is unmarked.
