A charming antique Bavarian rotund shaped footed porcelain creamer and sugar shaker set. They are a beautiful work of art, hand-painted with vibrant colorful strawberries, leaves and blooms against a pale blue background. The gold enamel is striking against the colors, applied with artistry to the lid, handle, rim and cute little upturned feet. Both pieces are signed by the artist Caroline. These were lovingly preowned and well cared for which is apparent from their condition. No chips, cracks or stains and the gold enamel is amazingly in tact. The creamer measures approximately 4 1/2" high and 4 1/4" wide. The sugar shaker is about 4 1/2" high and 3 3/4" in diameter.
