The vases feature two distinct art metalware designs , hand hammered as well as floral . WMF is the abbreviation for Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik , which means Wurttemberg Metal Factory , and was created in 1880 in the small town of Geislingenon on river steige in Germany . This is an exceptionally gorgeous pair of art nouveau art metalware . The vases are stamped with the rare WMF ostrich mark , stamped WMF and numbered 159 . The mark dates the pair between 1880-1925 . 5 3/4\" tall , offered in a very good antique condition , original patina ,with minor dings/tarnish/scratches to commensurate with age /usage .WMF is one of the most sought after makers of Art Nouveau decorative metalware .Please see all photos for more details/condition , display stand not included .
