MOVEMENT: 8 day wind up mechanism

FUNCTION: time with half hour and hour striking

SIZE: 28\"H x 12\"W

ORIGIN: Japan.

REMARK: While the clock is striking, the monk raises his hammer and strikes on the brass bell. The monk is hand carved out of wood. The actual sound of the striking is from interior of the bell, chimed by a metal hammer, so it\'s loud and clear. A retractable anchor on the back of the clock case, which offers the option to hang this clock on the wall. Original label from the maker can be found inside the case.
