1850'sAntique Ambrotype Type Photo of Young Women w Gold Jewlery in Leather Case. Size closed 3.5tall 3.25 wide I am not an expert on this topic but it seems that the photo is printed on the glass. It has a slight 3d effect. The photo is dark and there is a lifting of the black background. The gold Jewlery looks quite interesting almost popping out from the photo. The case (which is a darker brown the in the photo ) is still intact which is hard to find in a photo this old. The binding is in good condition. The Brass and Velvet are also in good shape for the age.
