In very good condition. Has both lids and one side has an insert as seen in the photos. No chips or cracks.Alfred Orlik was born in Vienna in 1878 and as an adult moved to New York where he opened a high end shop and proceeded to commission gift ware from various European makers. This is a lovely desk or dressing table piece with gold trim and a 17thcentury scene of a young man serenading his sweetheart in the center of the tray. One inkwell has its own small liner that is easily removed for cleaning. The other one appears to be missing if it ever had one to begin with. The underside has the maker\'s mark and “Germany”. Measurements are: 8” x 6”
