Stands 11\" tall, 9\" wide which includes the handle, 5\" in diameter on bottom, 5\"-6\" in diameter on top.Weighs 3.33 lbs.Marked on bottom \"Napoleon Jug, Patent Applied For, Alfred Evans, Philadelphia\"...print is fuzzy and hard to read.Made of creamware depicting French emperor Napoleon.Body and hat are colored in mustard yellow with gilt accents, face and hair are beautifully detailed in polychrome...see close up pictures to appreciate.Applied handle with leaf, scroll and Fleur-de-Lis design in relief, gilt accented.Age: dated by other sellers on the internet mid 18th century, I always encourage conducting your own research.Condition:- no chips, there are 3 very small spots on his knees where the yellow paint is rubbed off or scuffed off...pictured.
- 2 hairline cracks 1\" and 3\" long on the outside surface, 2 hairline cracks on the inside...see picture. I did fill the jug with water there was no leakage.
- wear to the gilt accents, some wear to the yellow color.
- crazing on face and on the inside, darkened on the inside of the jug, a removed label also left a dark spot ...see picture.
For shipping the item will be wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy box.
