Up for Sale is a Set of Three Antique Carved Wooden African Primitive/Zimbabwe Tribal Drums with Animal Skin/Hide Bottom-Carved Face-Sinews/rawhide for Binding. The Drums are made of wood logs, Definitely Hand Carved with open mouth animal design. Bottom is skid carved to provide for stability. All three are very similar in design and more than likely carved by same person. They are laced with rawhide in a pattern that is the same on all three. It is more of a design which again implies they are made by the same artist.The drum heads appear to be some type of animal skin with a hairy surface.The drums have hand carved faces or masks as the body design of the drum.Tapping on face of drums has good sound and is tightly attached.
