Antique A. A. WOOD & SONS Co. \'Universal\' Hollow Auger Tenon Cutter. This was a \'top of line\' tool for the early 1900\'s and sold for $124.20 !! This hollowauger is also marked on the bottom with the makers name and the calibration diameter marks (1/4 to 1 1/4). It has an 11/16\" wide skewed and thick cutting iron. It also has an adjustable depth stop.Tool is approx. 5.5\" tall. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Very good, clean \'used tool\' condition. The very last picture shows a very thin locking nut on the adjusting shaft. This appears to be stripped. Other than that this item has all the original parts. A VERY nice example for your collection!PLEASE review pics to confirm condition !!
