This is an antique Remington Rand 3B typewriter from the 1930s. It is a manual typewriter with a portable design and an art deco case. The typewriter is in working condition and has a glossy vintage appearance. It was manufactured in the United States and has not been modified.
If you are looking at this typewriter you probably know how rare they are, with only a little over 5000 ever being made.
This one comes with the original case which is in decent condition for its age with the leather handle being dried out.
CONDITION - the typewriter itself seems to be working very well. No sticking keys, moves well, the ribbon turns. The f key was slightly sticky but after typing a bit it seems to be fine. Please see close up photos of some of the metal parts are a little oxidized but all seems to be working. I never took it off the base or tried to mess with it much as I don\'t want to damage a working Remington 3b.
Weight is around 12-13 pounds before packaging and shipping.
