ANTIQUE MADONNA IMMACULATE CONCEPTION STATUE
Fabulous antique Madonna Immaculate Conception statue with praying hands. It measures 22\" tall. I believe it is made of Pasta Madera material (wood paste). She wears a painted blue & red flowing garment with roses, and gold edging. She stands on a crescent moon, which represents Mary\'s miraculous conception and birth. She wears original brass crown. Beautiful smooth face with lovely features and glass eyes. The right arm has some separation to it, but could be fixed with some wood putty and painted to match. Will leave that to the experts out there. Wonderful aged patina. See all photos. Comes from a non-smoking environment. is expected within 2 days after the close of sale.
