An exquisite antique 19thc French hand made boutis quilt piece from my personal archives. Gorgeous work, dense like trapunto. I wish I had the entire quilt! It had to be amazing.

Three different fabrics total~ a stunning provencal stye print on the front and 2 on the back in madder tones.

I\'m offering this lovely piece by the \"half length\" which I can keep uncut if you would like entire panel.

Measures~ 15\" wde by 31\" long ~

(so \"2\" selected would be 15\" by 62\")

Appears in overall good order for it\'s age though does have popping to the back side and some patina on the front (I doubt it\'s ever been washed though the terra cotta color does hide it well). The front is overall very good albeit some areas that appea to hav slight thinning of the cotton. Overall strong and stable.

I cannot tell you how beautiful this textile displays & really lovely used for projects or study, added to a collection etc..I think a quilted valance or table piece is outstanding as well. Very special find.
