Antique 19th century Orientalist woman painted oval glass brass framed portrait:

Lovely, antique 19th century, painted, oval framed portrait. The subject is a woman dressed in Orientalist style of art. Her clothes have hand painted details. It’s either French Limoges, or made in Germany or Austria.

The portrait measures 3” 1/8 high by 2” 5/8 wide. The most substantial flaw is the wear on the gold plated frame. Each side has some wear as shown in the photos. The back is made of a beige velvet. The velvet has an exposed needle, and also wear from age. The glass is crack and scratch free. Has a o ring for hanging.
