Wonderful, and charming, antique 19th century, French Sarreguemines majolica head pitcher. Great colors on him! He does have crazing throughout the pitcher as well as inside, as shown in the photos.
Measures 7” 5/8 inches tall, the base measures 4” 1/8 by 4” 3/8 inches wide. The is age stains/marks on the bottom base. There’s also a few chips on the base too. There also some glue stains on the base as well.
There’s a few dark age spots on his face, under neath his chin as well as a reddish stain on the bottom left side of the base. There’s another dark age spot underneath the right side of his chin as wells. No large chips, repairs or other damage. Adds a lot of character to any home. Selling as is/as found. Free shipping!
