Antique 19th Century Meissen Porcelain Figurine Figurine Man W/ Dog Whippet 1/2:

This sale is for the first of two 19th century Meissen figurines we will be listing tonight. This first figurine depicts a handsome gentleman with a dog, perhaps a Whippet, at his feet. This figure stands approximately 9 1/2” tall and is in good condition but does have some losses to the fine frills at the collar, a loss to the right pointer finger and a break and poor repair to the right arm at the elbow. Please see the close up images for condition issues. The bottom has the Meissen crossed sword mark and also has the number 44 impressed into the bottom and the number L162 etched into the bottom. A very nice example of 19th century Meissen porcelain. The last image depicts both figurines being listed tonight. This sale is only for the gentleman with the dog. This figurine will make a prized addition to any Meissen collection
