Antique 19th Century German Teutonia Black Forest Mantle Clock:

Disassembled but complete, this small mantel clock is labeled as “Teutonia Clock Manufactory” which from my research was a trademark Phillip Haas & Sohne operating out of St Georgen im Schwarzwald in the Black Forest in the 1870s. This particular movement is stamped 21501, and one of the arbors needs new pivots as both have broken off, as seen in one of the photos. If you’re into clock repair and have a lathe, you probably already have a plan to get this back up and running again.

The rest of the case is old and dirty, but I don’t like to clean these as it can remove patina and history if done with a heavy hand. Once up and running, feel free to restore to your desire.

Will be a handsome little mantle clock when repaired and wish I could bring it around, but it’s outside of my current skills and tools, and I’m thinning the collection.
