An absolutely stunning 19th century French or English cotton chintz.

Sublime botanical design with peacocks, birds & gorgeous florals in lovely colors on a yellow ground.

Not heavily glazed, a subtle polish.

In the 1850’s to 1880’s range.

A wonderful piece tor authentic interiors projects, creative artisan pieces, patchwork & restoration framing or added to an archive collection etc…

Appears lightly used & in very good strong condition with good coloring.

~Measures~ 30” wide by 31” long.
