BOSTON Mechanical Wind-Up Liquor Store Counter Top Large Figural Advertising Shelf Clock, Made By The Gilbert Clock Company Winsted Conn. USA for Old Mr Boston Fine Liquours. This was a Promotional Item Given Away to Stores That Sold Old Mr Boston Liquor to Advertise The Brand.The Dial isThe Original Silver Metal Dial with Convex Glass Hinged Bezel, Signed "Gilbert 1807 8 Day Made By Gilbert at Winsted Conn. USA". The Case is a Large Embossed Metal Figural 'Liquor Bottle' Shaped Case, With the Advertising Slogan "Old My Boston Fine Liquors". Great Liquor Advertising Style Design!!! This is a Mechanical Wind-up Clock, with Gilbert 8 Day 'Lever Escapement' Clock Movement, that Winds and Sets From the Front. It is a Key Wind Clock and Includes a Winding Key. I Wound The Clock and it Started Ticking and Winds and Sets Correctly, But Has Not Been Tested Long Term, or For Accuracy, Sold As Found! It is Large and Measures approx. 21 1/2" Tall x 10" Wide x 5" Deep. This is a Very Rare Clock, I haven't seen one like this before. It is in Good Cosmetic Conditon!!!
