Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 'Turn Of The Century' First Issue Ceremonial Fraternal 'KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS' Sword with Scabbard, Circa 1905. This Has a Painted Ebony Wood Handle with Emblem Of The Order Badge Sheild "K.O.C." Cross Guard. The Blade is Etched with Fancy Designs, and "Knights of Columbus" with Decorative Designs. The Blade is Signed by the Maker on the Base "T.C. Gleason & Co. The House of Quality Chicago". This is a Rare First Issue Sword with the Flying Eagle Pommel!!! This is Circa 1905. These Swords were Made From 1900-1930 and are Extremely Hard To Find! All the Later and Current KOC Swords Have a Columbus Head Pommel. This Has a Silver Metal Scabbard with Applied Decorative Trim, and Fancy Tip. The Sword measures approx. 35" Long with a 28 1/4" Blade. The Blade is in Good Condition, As Pictured! The Length Of The Sword in the Scabbard is Approx. 37 1/4" Long. This is Over a Hundred Years Old, and in Good Original Condition with a Nice Aged Patina, Click and Enlarge Photos for Details.
