Antique Milk Can Cream Can Milk Can.
Up for your consideration is a beautiful cream/milk can which is marked CPM Co which was in Chicago late 1800s to early 1900s..
This can is a brown with generalized surface rust covering it.
The dairies logo is on the two handles.
It is riveted which shows its age.
This was likely a can that would have gone to a small dairy and it was used to transport raw milk to the larger dairy and then it was returned.
This is a great piece of early advertising.
It\'s a small piece of Americana.
And would look great as a decor piece especially in a room with warm earthy tones.
There are also a good number of dents and dings.
It has been sanded, cleaned and clear coated to stop the rusting process.Size - 29.5\"H x 10 5/8\" Diameter 12.5 pounds before packingIf you need your item shipped with a particular carrier let me know. As in almost all vintage items this piece has signs of wear, with some possible scratches and scuffs. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us. It takes us back to an earlier, simple time, when things were not throwaway and disposable. reclaim-bring it back home. repurpose-chances are it won\'t be used in its original form, the possibilities of use are only limited by your imagination. reuse-too much from our lives is throwaway. We need to find new and creative ways to reuse, so we do not completely drown in the disposable:)
