This beautiful antique Catholic Viaticum dates from the late 1800's or early 1900's and is great shape for its age. Measuring 23" tall and 13 1/2" wide this religious shadow box was used for Last Rites and Sick Calls and appears to be complete. The image of the Last Supper at the bottom is a little faded but still displays well. The candle holders on either side are complete and functional. It has a few minor scuffs, but the finish is in otherwise good shape. The glass is clean and all the colors are bright. We have seen a few of these over the years, but they are generally missing parts and/or damaged. This antique Altar box is in beautiful shape and would look great hanging on the wall!
