For sale isa plate made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century . An unusual design that reminds me very much of the flowers of KPM Berlin during this period. Might have been made as a replacement piece? The plate is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the well and three smaller flowers along the rim as well as two tiny bugs. The nicely shaped edge has a gold trim to it. A simple yet very elegant plate that I am enjoying a lot :) The plate is marked with the CC mark under the crown in under glaze blue as shown. The piece is 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with one chip to the inside foot ring as shown.
