This listing is for an antique pewter HUGE chargerplate that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. The overall size is just about 15\" across with a weight of3 lb2 oz.The bottom is marked with2 faint hallmarks that I\'ll picture - the 1 looks like HH inside a shield hallmark. The other is a large circle and under that is an X with something under that. Everything else is too faint to make out. Speaking of age - I believe this is from the 1700\'s era.
I just picked up a small collection of all antique pewter from a local estate sale and will have some other pieces listed in my store at this time. I don\'t know a ton about antique pewter but a number of the pieces from this collection look to be pretty old!! I don\'t have any reference books or know of any good websites for reference on any hallmarks found or how to properly date the pieces from this collection. One of the pieces was dated 1775. As always, I welcome combined shipping whenever possible based on the total weight and your location.
