Antique 18th-century American Revolutionary War Era pair of leather saddle holsters for a large flintlock pistol. Each holster is made of thick, hand-stitched formed leather and fitted at the end with a brass cap connected to the leather by iron rivets. The brass cap is ornamented with two engraved bands.REFERENCES: For similar examples, please see;

The leather yoke connecting holsters is missing, and two rivets on one of the holster brass caps are missing.
