Antique 1898 German Holy Baptism Infant Memento Keepsake:

We recently returned from Germany with lots of wonderful finds! This is a delightful antique 1898 Holy Baptism memento for an infant. These were traditionally found inside little cardboard boxes resembling books. The baptism card is decorated with beautiful colored tulle and pieces of Dresden paper and scrap. The center is a foil image of children. The card opens in the back to reveal a certificate with a poem that was signed in 1898. The front of the box says, \"Zur Erinnerung an die Heilige Taufe\" which means, \"In memory of Holy Baptism.\" The box measures 4.5 by 3 by 0.75 inches. Very good condition for its age. Small spit on side where cover meets box but cover is still intact. Non-smoking home. I will combine shipping with other items in my shop
