Up for sale is a June 1894 Cosmopolitan Monthly Magazine published out of New York. It\'s illustrated with drawings, engravings, as well as photographs. There are also about 50 pages of advertising in the back section of the magazine, advertising anything and everything people bought for themselves, their families, their homes or farms back in the 1890\'s.
Magazine measures about 7 by 10 inches and is nearly 1/2 inch thick.Stories include but are not limited to:
- Famous Hunting Parties of the Plains - written by Buffalo Bill.
- The Fjords of Norway.
- The Home of Joan of Arc.
- How to Preserve Health and Attain Strength. This is about physical development for men, including physique photographs of men posing.
- The Panama Scandal. This was about the corruption affair that broke out in the French Third Republic in 1892, in what is regarded as the largest monetary corruption scandal of the 19th century.
- There are also fiction stories within.
- It also lists Academies and Colleges of the day from all over the United States.
The magazine is in good condition for itsage at nearly 128 years old. The pages are all intact. The binding is stabled with 2 large staples (slightly rusted but strong) and glued.
