This antique compass and divider tool, model No. 569 from Eagle, is a rare and valuable piece for collectors of engineering and drafting tools. Crafted in 1894, this tool comes with its original box and is a perfect addition to any collection. With its intricate design and historic significance, this tool is a unique piece. The handles have a nice floral pattern on the handles that really stands out. The piece has remained in the original box and the box has done a great job protecting it from the elements. The box is also in good condition. It has a bright blue color around the edges. There are scratches and stains throughout the box and the corners were slightly frayed and have been taped for stability but overall both the box and tool look great. The tool is printed above the handle and reads “Eagle Pencil Co New York Pat. Dec 11 1894 Pat GT Britain”. The box measures about 5.75” long and 2” wide.
