Antique/1890-1920 NOS Handmade White RETICELLA LACE Wide INSERTION White Linen offered as YARDAGE.No signs of ever being used or 'reclaimed'. Most likely Italian in origin.Classic Geometric design with circles, triangles and squares all 'criss-crossed' with sturdy Brides. NO breaks, holes, tears, or repairs.
Overall 4 1/4'' wide with 1/2'' 'plain' White Linen border on one edge and 1/4'' on the other with both 'short 'ends' having a border as well so worked to this length specifically. Worked area is 3 1/8'' wide. Clean and ready to use.Measuring (3 yards plus 13 1/2'') 121 1/2'' long in one continuous piece. Enough for a multiplicity of uses from Home Decor to Garments. Upper and lower edges finished with strong and well done Drawnwork re-enforced with Floss so would work for direct application as 'Entre-Deux' if desired.
