Antique 1879 Presidential Kanas Land Grant signed by President Rutherford B. Hayes with beautiful intact red seal as per pictures. Beautiful antique document as per pictures. A piece of history. Some slight yellowing and a few stains from being very old but overall very good in comparison of other land grant documents I see in other listings. And the red official government seal is in very good condition (not like the others I see). I do not know how authentic the signature is as this is not my area of expertise and I welcome input from someone who deals in this sort of item. I do know that this Presidential election was one of the most controversial elections of that era. But all the land grant documents I am listing came from the same family and were kept in a box (that is why they survived in such good condition) and that is all I know about them. It is made of heavy paper and displays well. Condition; antique used showing some light age and wear from being very old.
