Simply Stunning Massive English Contracts
Each contrast is hand written penned with what was likely a quill, and the penmanship is exquisite
The first contract, with an official stamp date of 1858, lays out the inheritors and rules regarding Henrietta Journess Turner and her late husband Charles Hampden Turner, and also contains an amendment that statesthat all balances have been paid.
The contracts discuss the inheritors, heirs, and remaining mortgage owned on property and outlines who will pay for the property and who receives any invested interest.
Both contracts are hand signed by Henrietta Turner, and her wax seal applied
Each contract measures approx. 26-3/4" W x 22" H

Condition:

Very good overall condition considering its age. Both contracts show some mild staining to the thick parchment from age, and some mild edge wear. Both contracts have been folded numerous time and are creased heavily. The original tax stamps and wax seals remain intact and in place.
