Being offered here is a used antique bible titled "Die Bibel" dated 1821. Our best translation of the tile page is "The Bible or The Entire Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testament According to the German Translation of D Martin Luthers". The title page in German reads "Die Bibel, Oder Die Ganze Heilige Schrift Des Alten Und Neuen Testamentes Nach Der Deutschen Ubersetzung D. Martin Luthers". Please view pictures for details. All 296 pages are in tact and legible. However, there is foxing, creases, scribbling on the inside front and inside back covers/pages, and wear. The hardback leather cover is worn, scratched, bumps on all corners, and soiled. This bible measures 7 3/4" x 4 5/8" x about 2 3/4" thick. Remember . . . this German bible is used and is 200 years old. It is being sold as you see it . . . NO returns.
